Christmas Fun In Scarborough
9th - 13th December
Our final Christmas tour is to Scarborough, possibly the oldest seaside resort in Britain. Join us for a thoroughly festive break. We will stop en-route in Nottingham to enjoy their Winter Wonderland Christmas Market, and get in the festive spirit.
We will have a full day in the beautiful city of York, with plenty of time to savour the festive season by visiting the Christmas markets at St. Nicholas fair.
We will have a free day to explore Scarborough and visit one of its many attractions such as Scarborough Castle, Peasholm Park or the Rotunda museum, one of the world's first purpose built museums. Make sure you enjoy 'Scarborough Lights' bringing a sparkle to the town with over 60 incredible light installations.
Our next excursion will be a scenic drive through The North York Moors to admire the stunning scenery. We will end with a visit to Goathland, a small village on the moor, with plenty of pubs for a Christmas drink, or to buy an ice-cream in Aidensfield Garage, made famous in 'Heartbeat'. Fans of steam may chose to visit the railway, known as a location in the Harry Potter films.
